This study examined personality variables and delinquent behaviour of adolescents in selected secondary schools in Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State. Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry 36, 929-964. The DAS, based in part on the Self-Reported Delinquency Scale (SRD) (Elliott, Ageton, Huizanga, Knowles, & Canter, 1983), is designed to assess specific delinquent offenses and the contribution of alcohol and marijuana to these occurrences. The findings support making a distinction between antisocial behaviour subgroups and indicate some personality traits associated with certain subgroups of delinquent adolescents.
